When Umphrey’s McGee announced that they were going to do 2 nights at the Murat Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, IN. I knew I had to not only be in attendance, but had to do coverage of it as well. Not only had Umphrey’s McGee already released a live album from their two night stand at the Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, a few years earlier; but the two night stand in Indianapolis happened to fall on Friday the 13th (where they not only played 2 sets of jaw dropping music, but they dropped a Another Brick in the Wall / Thriller mash up). Both nights were absolutely phenomenal, and if you haven’t heard of them before I’m sure they are playing a city near you soon; so give them a listen and get out there and support live music!
