Heather Evans Smith is a conceptual portrait photographer in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A friend of mine turned me onto her FlickR and I’ve been following her work and using it as inspiration ever since. Once I heard she was having a workshop in Knoxville, TN I knew I had to attend. Not only is Heather an amazing and talented photographer, but she is an incredible person.She was very personable and super creative.
Her workshop gave me a creative boost. I left seeing things differently and full of ideas. If you can make it to one of her workshops I highly recommended it, and if you don’t know who she is you need to find out.

Big ups to Steve & Courtney for everything they did, Helen and Caitlin for joining us for the day, the workshop attendees (phenomenal group of people and great new friends) and of course Heather!
